You know you want to feel more confident. But what are you actually supposed to work on?

01 / Communication

I want to express myself clearly.

For when you know what you mean but ramble, freeze, over-explain, or struggle to get your point across when you're put on the spot.

02 / Preparation

I want to feel less intimidated.

For when you feel smaller asking for something, making your case, entering unfamiliar rooms, or dealing with someone more experienced.

03 / Curiosity

I want to have more to say.

For when you want to become more curious, informed, and engaged without adding another giant reading list to your life.

04 / Attention

I want to use my attention well.

For when you catch yourself scrolling longer than you intended or consuming a lot without feeling like much of it adds to your life.

Why I Made This

Confidence felt too broad to work on.

Marisela, creator of Professionally Curious

Hi, I'm Marisela.

For a long time, I knew I wanted to become more confident, but confidence felt too broad to work on.

At work, I would stay quiet in meetings, feel small around more experienced people, and overthink what I wanted to say because I was afraid of sounding dumb or awkward.

What helped me was getting more specific: working on how I communicated, learning more intentionally, practicing before situations that made me nervous, and paying more attention to what I was consuming.

Over time, I became more articulate, less intimidated, more comfortable sharing my opinion, and more trusting of myself.

The Confidence Curriculum came from wishing I had a clearer place to begin.

Start with one thing.

You don't have to become confident overnight. You just need a place to begin.
